My photography style is inspired by fantasy novels and nature. I specialize in Boudoir, Creative Lifestyle, Elopement, and Intimate Wedding photography. Based in Mid-Michigan, but no distance is too far for this adventurous soul!
The name North Light Photography comes from my grandmother's art and photography studio, the North Light Studio. She had her studio built facing north with skylights perfect for lighting any time of the day. After my grandmother passed away in 2021, I decided to heal by getting creative in the North Light Studio. It has been the best decision I have ever made!
In addition to photographing, I offer photography mentoring, assistance on planning your Elopement or Intimate Wedding, and can sign your marriage license in the state of Michigan. That's right, I'm also ordained in the state of Michigan and able to give you that true Elopement feel for a fraction of the cost!

HEY THERE, I'm Taylor!
I live in Grand Ledge, Michigan on the river with my husband, two dogs (Mildred and April), and two black cats (Severus and Silas). When I'm not capturing people's special moments, I love to read, hike, travel, and spend time with the important people in my life.
Growing up I was always in my grandmother's studio having tea parties, painting and being her little model. Wanting to be like my grandmother at a young age, I had a disposable camera in my hands at all times. I would pose not only my family members, but my stuffed animals and dolls.
My parents would take me to the local Rite-Aid to have my images developed and I will never forget the excitement of picking up the fresh prints to see what you captured. It was pretty close to the excitement I feel now when I get to upload a client's images for the first time after a session!
